About
RadioCast was created to help schools, businesses, and enthusiasts start their very own streaming internet radio station. We wanted to provide more than just a bunch of links that might point you in the right direction, so we created an entire service that gets you online. Our service is flexible and will fit needs of all different sizes. Once you become a customer we will provide you with the software you'll need, the streaming server to broadcast your station, a professionally designed website, and much more! Technology
RadioCast is designed using the latest in broadcast and web technology. Online radio stations must be very technologically advanced in order to stay competitive. When you become a RadioCast customer, we make sure that you are up to date with the latest web and radio automation technology.
Security
We would first like you to know that our website is secured by
PositiveSSL and Comodo. We use our private SSL Certificate when you
submit personal or sensitive information (you'll see https instead
of http in the address bar). The RadioCast Manager uses a 2-step
authentication method we created and will never ask to remember your
password.
RadioCast Manager
Once you log
into the RadioCast Manager you'll see several modules that show you
your real-time stats, live updates, web editor, and a few other
administrative options. When we say real-time stats, we mean that
you will be able to see how many people are listening to your
station at that very moment. We'll also show you how many hits your
site has had. Since technology is always changing, we are constantly
having to make updates. The live updates is an easy way for us to
quickly tell you what changes we've made to our system.
Interactive PlaylistBETA
Interactive playlist is a feature that can be used with your streaming package or used alone. The product was intended to replace current jukebox and music systems in restaurants/bars/etc. It uses our new 'social' web technology that allows the listener to communicate directly with the music playout program. The interactive playlist creates a virtual battle between 6 tracks. At the end of the 10 mintue battle, the software will select the top 3 tracks. The top 3 tracks are selected by any listener with a smartphone. When the user scans the Tag on their table tent with the Microsoft Tag app, they will be taken to the landing page for the business. The landing page will allow the user to vote up or down tracks they like or dislike.
The interactive playlist also comes with a live stats board. Simply connect the PC up to a TV or multiple TVs to display the current track, what tracks are battling, and recent actions such as when a user votes a track up or down. We also provide space for businesses to display advertisements. RadioCast does not take or ask for any profit that the business receives from the advertisements!
We are currently seeking restaurants that are interested in testing this new product. Since RadioCast is seeking business to demo the service, the per month fee will be reduced to $25. Music Exposure
All RadioCast customers will have a module in their manager labeled 'Distribution Network' the content in this module is driven by the RadioCast Distribution Network. We mainly use the network to distribute new singles or albums. If an artist requests us to post a single in the network for exposure we will post it and monitor which RadioCast stations have downloaded it. We even have the ability to tell the artist what time a certain station aired it last. With our network of radio stations, the single will have thousands of potential listeners.
